Westgroove Radio plays the Westgroove internet radio stream. The app has no accounts, adverts, analytics or tracking, and Britenet Labs does not use it to collect, sell or share your personal information.
How the app works
Westgroove Radio connects to the Westgroove internet radio stream when you press play. This internet connection is required to deliver the live audio and current stream information to your device.
Information collected by the app
The app does not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or other personal details. It does not build a listener profile or track your activity across other apps or websites.
Internet and streaming data
As with any internet radio service, your device must make a network connection to the streaming server. Standard technical information, such as your IP address, connection time and basic request information, may be processed automatically by the server to deliver the stream, maintain security and diagnose faults. This information is not used by Britenet Labs for advertising, profiling or cross-app tracking.
Accounts, advertising and analytics
Westgroove Radio has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, marketing trackers, in-app purchases or subscription system. Britenet Labs does not sell personal data or share listener information with advertisers or data brokers.
App permissions
The app uses internet access to play the radio stream. Android may also display media controls or a playback notification while audio is playing. The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photographs or files for its normal operation.
Information stored on your device
The app may store basic settings needed for playback, such as volume or player state. This information stays on your device and does not identify you to Britenet Labs. You can remove locally stored app data through Android Settings by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Data retention and deletion
Westgroove Radio does not create an online user account or maintain a personal listener database, so there is no account data to request for deletion. Locally stored settings can be deleted by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Routine server security logs, if generated, are retained only as required for operation, security and fault diagnosis.
Third-party services
The app depends on internet and hosting infrastructure to deliver the Westgroove stream. Those technical providers may process limited network information as necessary to provide their services. Westgroove Radio does not include third-party advertising or behavioural analytics services.
Children
Westgroove Radio is a general music and entertainment app. It is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's features or data practices change, this privacy policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before the relevant release.
